I took Chester to the vet yesterday and she said the dots aren't a bacterial infection. Could someone please confirm to me this is not a bacterial infection? He's never had these dots before and I think she must be mistaken. Thx for help

Can you provide some background on this? IE: did it just show up or was this gradual? Did it occur soon after something changed or happened in the enclosure... ie cleaning, handling, misting. I have had spots on mine before but don't think they looked like the ones in your pics.
Don
I moved him out of a false bottom setup (24x48x24) five days ago, after discovering mold on the underside of the potted plants. Both frogs were inactive for about a week before that which concerned me, so I switched back to the water setup they seem to thrive in. I saw the dots when I placed him in the new water tank and watched a few days to make sure they weren't just from a change in environment. There's less dots now than before, but they aren't going away completely. He is moving and eating, the only issue is the dots at this point.
How long have you had them?
I've had him about 1.5 years and estimate he's about 2 years old.
It could be from a little stress. I would just watch them and see if they slowly disappear.
Other than the dots they look healthy.
