    Default Toxic Urine

I know this sounds weird, but I had my WTF in a little feeder container and it jet streamed some urine all over this cricket. The cricket started twitching for a few seconds and fell over dead.

    Seems weird to me.
The squirting contains just a little percentage of urine, most of it is just water.

Perhaps it was just the fright of it all that got to the cricket.

Crickets tend to drown very easily , maybe that's what happened?

It may have been. It was super quick though. And there wasn't any other water in the container, just super flowmax Blumpy style.

This would have made an awesome video.

I also vote for drowning. There's a reason you never put a bowl of water in your cricket keeper!

Agreed on the drowning. When I take my largest White's out to feed him I put him in a little cricket keeper and if it's especially dry outside I spray a little bit of water into it to moisten things up for my little guy, I've seen large crickets drown in just little pools of water on the bottom of the keeper in just a few seconds. I believe they soak up water through the thorax so it's understandable if they sit in a puddle too long.

Thank you all for the comments. Drowning is a lot more plausible than super urine. Lol, I don't know what I was thinking. But I was a bit afraid to take him out of the feeder container.
