I wish I lived in New England. Not quite so hot, and adoptable frogs... I think my stepsister is visiting Vermont right now, but I don't know if she flew or drove, or if I could even talk her into carting frogs cross-country.

    Hey Don!

If you don't mind holding on to them until we move then we should be good to go! We should be moving around the last weekend in August

Sure, we can hold off and just let me know when you can take them.

There is not much to tell with these guys.
Change the water dish and clay planters pot's water daily. I rinse with very hot tap water and then refill both with treated water.
I feed them in the evening and let them hunt but you will have two and sometimes three that will sit and wait for you to hold out a cricket or two in some tongs. Sometimes I catch the tank crickets with the tongs in the morning to give them to them since they will stare you down at the door. I dust the crickets with repticalc two to three times a week and thats about it.

The tank is view-able from all sides and makes a great looking piece. But at night in a livingroom, they will chat up a storm during a movie or cut in on your conversations :-)
Oh and I clean the glass when I mist using a 6 inch squeegee.

I have live oak leaf liter in the tank and will drop in a fresh batch when you get them.
Nothing else to tell really besides they like the night light to sit under, big barometric changes make them all climb all over the tank and entertain you by trying to push the top off.
There is a video of this on YouTube under ReptilesDon Channel.

Ok, and by your signature there are two males and two unsexed frogs, correct?

What type of lighting should I pick up? Is standard aquarium lighting alright or do they need special lighting?

I use a standard Zoo Med 18 inch two bulb hood.
I have a CFL bulb for the plants and daylight and a red night light which they usually go under to shed and hang out at night.

I guess anything that will how a day and night bulb would be fine.

I can give you the hood too. I was thinking on hanging on to it but it should probably stay with the little ones since they are accustomed to it.

Na, just some 3/4 crickets would be all you need. If you have thongs for feeding some of them like to be fed but they don't have to be.
Spidy, the smallest and most active will leap at yo on occasion so be ready to have a frog on your mister or arm :-)

I have been watching many videos on them and reading up on care - - I fully expect to be climbed on on occasion!

I looked through your albums for some pictures of them. Even the husband is looking forward to them (i catch him looking over my shoulder at the screen quite often)

Besides cricket and the occasional bug who flies in the the wrong direction - - are they at all tempted by earth worms? They are a common item in my refrigerator due my ACF and Axolotls.

Ah snap! Sucks I live 2 thousand miles away lol... Such a great deal. I had a whites (my first venture into this hobby) and I always gave it larger crickets (1 inch) and it was so much fun watching him tackle them down and crunch them up. I hope they go to a good home
