My newest Pacman is about 3 to 5 months old, and he has the most unbelievable appetite of any frog of any species I have ever had. I'm simply wondering, is it possible to overfeed a younger Pacman. I know with maturity, overfeeding can lead to premature death from obesity, but right now he is young, healthy and really hungry.
I feed him at least 4 crickets or 2-4 night crawlers every night, and he sucks them up like nobodies business. Do you think I should cut back?
I'd say his appetite is probably a good thing, just cut back if he starts looking fat. I think a young pacman will usually eat that amount every other day.
i wish my young frog had such an appetite, I am lucky if he will eat a cricket all lately :P
Lol, you could switch crickets to dubia roaches since they have more nutritional value than crickets so you can feed as much as he will eat.
i had my new pacman frog for 3 days and he did not eat yet is that normal i just leave the crickets in ther for him please help i am a newbbie!
