- Im new to this forum . Greetings everyone. I never have owned any white lipped tree frogs in the past before and Im wondering how to sex them. I currently own 2 at both the same age ( 3 ish) one is about half inch longer., i missed the breeding season this year but is there any way to accurately sex them so if I do in fact have 2 of the same sex frogs i can be prepared for the next breeding season. thank yo for any advice.
I've never kept these, but the general guidelines are females are bulkier, often slightly bigger too.

Im trying to find that out myself, mine are only 6 months old to young to breed/sex but just for the future
I beleieve we got 1 male and 1 female. Male is croaking everyday now and what we thought is a female has no dark loose skin on throat and is almost 3/4" larger than our male at roughly the same age... but... they both have the pinkish lines on their hind legs. thats the only thing thats throwing me off... and the fact that our so called female was on our males back last night (amplexus reversed) lol
I too have a pair of white lips. I'm 98% sure I have a male and female. They're both the same age and my female is significantly larger than my smaller male (At least an inch and much bulkier). My male calls almost everyday and my large female has never made a peep.
