My Pacman, Trevor, regurgitated his stomach today. He's been eating pretty good but nothing today, and his last poo was yesterday, so this kind of came out of nowhere. I was there when it happened, so I washed my hands off and helped him get it back in without him chomping it too much.
Since that, he's soaked in his water dish, hopped around his enclosure a bit, and re-burrowed himself. Right now, he's alert and breathing normally.
Is there anything else I should do? Is this caused by some sort of disease or something? Any help would be greatly appreciated, cause I'm very worried about my little guy.
I thought this happened to my frog but I believe it was his tongue and not his stomach. I'd give him a bath in sugar water or a pedialyte mixture. I've heard them doing this to get stuff out of their body because they can't throw up like us.
I did find a partly digested cricket head in his enclosure that definitely didn't come from poop or anything, so maybe that's what he was doing... He seems fine now, but I'll be getting the stuff to do a pedialyte bath asap. Even if he's doing fine tomorrow, it never hurts to have that sort of stuff around in case of an emergency.
I agree. I did a sugar bath for Rupert when I found him like that, I don't know for sure whether it was his stomach or tongue, I think tongue though because it was pink and slimy looking, but he hasn't done it ever again even though he's had health problems later. Hope Trevor is doing well, would love to see pics :P
I know nothing about pedialyte. I would be hesitant to "treat" him until I knew he was definitely sick. It's not unknown for healthy frogs to regurgitate food, particularly if they're suffering a stress of some kind.

Yeah, I'm not treating him unless something else goes wrong. He's eaten a cricket since then and seems to be doing fine.
Mine's tongue is more white than pink, but the stomach was pink and very slimy. There aren't any pictures though, cause it went back in in like a minute and I was too worried to leave...
i had my new pacman frog for 3 days and he did not eat yet is that normal i just leave the crickets in ther for him please help i am a newbbie!
jjas12476, I've seen you replied on about 6 different posts with the same question, you shouldn't do this. If you have a question to ask just create a new thread and people will try to help you. But it is normal for a new frog to not eat for awhile.
