Allright hi everyone, im currently constructing a viv which is all done except for the waterfall
I would like to use a piece of corkbark that would fit perfectly
The only problem is that i dont know whether water would soak through the corkbark and leak. Is it water proof?
if its not water proof is there a way to make it waterproof while still keeping a natural look. I would use silicone but it is semi gloss and not very natural looking
Thanks
Cork Bark will absorb the water and then leak. You may be able to silicone the back of the cork bark if its a flat sheet ,so the back is waterproof. I would guess the cork would not last long once soak with water flowing over it.
Not sure if anyone else has a method for waterproofing cork.

I think i am just going to put some silicone on the cork bark unless there is a better way
