Hey everyone. This thread is a little bit random and a little bit unnecessary, but I wanted to commemorate the end of a long hard battle one of my White's Tree Frogs has had with obesity.
Finally I feel like Bruce Campbell is back down to a healthy weight! For those of you who don't know his story, I bought Bruce #1 a little while back (December 19th) from a Petsmart where he was being grossly overfed, daily. I brought him home and he became sick within the first three weeks, I healed him successfully, but I his weight was becoming a problem for me. SO I put him on the diet of two medium crickets every three days, and at first I wasn't sure if it was working, then I began to compare pictures of him with old ones and realized that little by little he was in fact getting skinnier.
Now finally, after almost 7 months of dieting, Bruce Campbell is a healthy weight!
I took a crappy picture of him on my cell phone to commemorate the event.
This is him just a few minutes ago after he took a bite out of his second juicy cricket for the night.
Thanks for reading everyone! I know it's a bit cheesy, but I don't care, my big guy deserves it!

Yay. For Bruce.
Yes I think that's very good to hear. He didn't look like he could move before. Is he more active now with his new slender physique?
He has no chin. How can he be called Bruce Campbell?

Congratulations he looks much healthier. I hope he's feeling better after all when you first got him it looked like he was a sumo wrestling frog lol.
Thanks so much for everyone's support! Bruce surely appreciates it.
@John: I'm glad you got my name reference. Although he is lacking the chin and the ability to spout beautiful one-liners, I believe if Bruce Campbell (human) had magically transformed into a White's, he would look just so.
@Cheri: Yes actually, nightly he can be seen climbing about the cage walls, even trying to escape through the screen lid. He's much more active now. His legs were so skinny compared to his belly before he could barely climb, but now he's gotten his strength back.
@Whistly: Yeah he really did look like he could take down a champ at Sumo, but he's much trimmer now. I think he'll stick to kick boxing.
