Hi, i've never kept any frogs before, but did have a passing interest once. Anyways i recently found this small-ish green frog under some pretty weird circumstances, and it wasn't in a very healthy looking condition. It's about 45 mm in length if that's any help, and was found in sydney, NSW. Im thinkin it could be a green tree frog, but dunno..
I took this pic of it, it's kinda bad quality, i know :/ Also any help on any immediate things to do for it...
thanks
My guess would be Litoria caerulea aka green tree frog as well. Hopefully, someone w/ more knowledge will chime in.
There's a care sheet here: http://www.frogforum.net/tree-frogs/...caresheet.html
That would be my guess also.
2.0.3 Hyla versicolor "Eastern Gray Tree Frogs"
2.2.0 Agalychnis callidryas "Red Eyed Tree Frogs"
0.0.3 Dendrobates auratus "Turquoise and Bronze"
0.0.1 Anaxyrus fowleri "Fowler's Toad"
Well, 3 guesses almost makes a right.
Ok thanks, well for the time being anyways i'll try replicate the conditions as best i can as set out in that guide, and others i've looked at jus now for green tree frogs.
It is probably Litoria caerulea. It looks too big to be Litoria fallax.
Frogs of Australia > Litoria caerulea / Green Tree Frog
Frogs of Australia > Litoria fallax / Eastern Dwarf Tree Frog

I'd put my money on Green tree frog.
