Empty 10 gallon tank

What can I do with my empty 10 gallon tank? What could I put in there? I don't want anything urgently, but I'd like to get something started and let it grow for a few months and research a breed. Any ideas?

Hello! Having an ACF (african black clawed albino frog) is a great pet. I love
mine. I just recently bought a female and she so calm and lovable. Now I have 89
ACF TADS. This is going to be so much fun!

1. they are easy to care for
2. not expencive to feed...I have my own worm farm (also pretty easy)
3. alway's fun to watch
4. just so darn cute!!!

I have in my 55gal. tank...
1-male adlut ACF
1-female adult ACF
2-alge eaters
2-oscars
2-fancy goldfish
1-pink goldfish

Only problem they will eat ANYTHING that they can fit in their mouths.(including
small rocks). I use white play sand that I have cleaned very well.

I know you've been looking at dart frogs. How about a pair of thumbnail imitators? There's a lot of cool options out there. If you're not in a hurry do some research on them and set up the tank before hand. They are pretty easy once you understand the basic care requirements. Im certain you could do it. You can get vertical conversion kits for $20 for a clean look.

I agree with Cheri.

The ten gallon that's housing my medium White's Tree Frog right now (I know it's small, but I'm in the process of building him a new home as I type this! ><) with be converted and used to house some thumbs. Granted this won't be until October or November, but it's always best to plan ahead.

I researched conversion kits a while back and they're inexpensive (like Cheri said, $20) and the tank ends up looking completely professional. They're also very easy to install by the look of it. Just need some silicone and you're ready and set.

Since ten gallons aren't a lot of space to work with it's best to try and find the smallest frogs you can so they'll be comfortable in their environment. I know some people who keeps pairs of thumbs in tens without any problems, as long as it's properly planted and constructed the frogs should be happy and feel safe.
