How do you keep your frog tanks humid enough? I definitely didn't have this problem in MO but now my frogs' soil dries out so fast and it feels like I'm constantly refilling their bowls. I know to block off part of the mesh with acrylic or glass, and to use live plants and to fill up the tanks with stuff, but I'm still having trouble. Tips from people who have always had this problem would be appreciated.

Personally, I've just given up and resorted to daily sprayings, but I'm also very close to the coast, so the humidity can be decent at some times of the year.
I mist at least twice daily on the tree frog vivs. Once morning and once when I get home from work. I also keep my lights up off the mesh and cover about 1/2 the top with glass. The lights will burn off humidity fast.
I average about 50 - 60 percent humidity during the day and once its lights out the humidity rises to about 70 percent as long as I'm not running the air con all night.

I got so spoiled living in Missouri. I am pretty sure if I needed to, I could have left my frog tanks completely alone for days and the humidity would still be good and there would be water in their bowls. I'll have to get use to misting twice a day!
Now that you mention lights, Don, I could leave the light off more. And I'll definitely use some of those other tips too. Thanks!
