Default New Pictures of my P. Mozambicus (edulis)

Here are some update pictures om my frog. He is now about 20cm (almost 8 inch). I think he is still growing. Ok its not an P. Adspersus but a dwarf. P mozambicus or P. Edulis I don't know. But my question is can this frog be called a dwarf anymore?
Sometimes he is bright green and sometimes he is darkbrouwn.

    Amazing pyxies and photos!

Loving that male. At that size I wouldn't consider him a dwarf.

Hey Daniel, glad to see you jumping back in to the Giant Bullfrogs!!! I would have to say that this frog is really cool!! Love the colors and size. BUT I would have to say that it is closer to a P. adspersus than edulis. That is the big problem right now. All these possible cross species with no identifiable 'sample' species.

As I look at his body and size I also think its closer to P. Adspersus than P. Edulis. But the confusing thing about it is that he croaked like an edulis. But as you said the problem is that they mabey crossed and are not indentifiable. His female looks more like edulis and is same size as a female adspersus.
You have still that frog which looks like this frog. Do you have recent pics of it?

What a beastly frog. I don't know how this frog could be a dwarf. It's obvious that the classification of these frogs is a mess. They need to do some genetic testing on these frogs to figure out what's what. If you put the colors aside that frog looks very adspersus like.

I got hem half it size, I got him from a petstore and it was wildcaught. I feed him twice a week. About 10 giant grashoppers and once a mount a mice. I think he has reached his fullsize now because he isn't grown the last 2 mounts.
