    Default T5 lighting

I got a t5 unit from mike novy the other day and I love it. I looked into getting more for my rack and using 48" fixtures for each shelf.

They are the solarmax he t5 dual units with 8 LED moonlights in the reflector. They are pretty sleek looking and inexpensive fir what they are. It comes with 1 10,000k and 1 actinic 03.
I'm not sure if the actinic bulb is frog safe, or for that matter if it would even be beneficial to the plants. I'm not very god with lights and that's why I'm asking.

I'll post a link with the fixture shortly.

    These look great, Garrett...

I personally use gutters that I get from Home Depot (I got some fom $4.99 to $8.99). I simply make little holes in them to fix them to my shelves and attach them with clips that come with the lights.

Here are pics of the reflectors made from gutters (the bluer light is on the Azureus tank, which has a temporary top until I finish the permanent one today).
