Not sure if its male or female yet, or if its a Gray Tree Frog or a Cope's Gray TF. I won't know until it calls... if it calls... I'm ever so happy! It's in the quarantine tank right now. Also, my conversion kit came today, and I am in the process of converting to a vertical!!
Pix! Pix!
Note: the tank its in... in the photo is temporary. He/She's in the quarantine tank now hiding under a leaf
Oh and the conversion kit I bought... DOESN'T FIT! I've had to go get the glass cut a tad bit smaller, and the vent is too big and the screws they sent with it are too short... not sure what I am going to do about that yet...may have to silicone it on, or may just send the whole thing back!!!
Awwww!!!! SOoooo cute!! Congratulations!! Sorry that your vert kit isn't working! That bites
2.0.3 Hyla versicolor "Eastern Gray Tree Frogs"
2.2.0 Agalychnis callidryas "Red Eyed Tree Frogs"
0.0.3 Dendrobates auratus "Turquoise and Bronze"
0.0.1 Anaxyrus fowleri "Fowler's Toad"
Thanks!!
-- I got the kit from jungle box. It said it fits standard 10g, I even measured it to make sure before I ordered. Its like 1/16 inch too big! We cracked one tank trying to make it fit, and of course cut my finger! I told my mom it was a bad idea to try and force it! So yeah, I tried it on 2 different tanks and it still didn't fit, so for now, I siliconed the vent on instead of screwing it on and hopefully the door will meet up with it!
Ugh good luck, that is not worth it!!

Bleh. I hope the kit works out for you. If not, I hope they take it back without any trouble.
On another note:
OMG CUTE!!!!!! I want to hug it!!!!!!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has to repress the urge to hug frogs
Hehe!! Well I called Jungle Box and we came to an arrangement to where I'll cut my own glass and they will send me a new vent made to fit. So my tanks halfway complete now I just have to wait for the new vent to come in the mail.
Wow! I just noticed my new frog has a star shape on its back. Now I am thinking of names having to do with stars! I'll try to get a pic of the star, but it's kind of hard as it keeps hiding under the pothos and I don't want to disturb the frog while its getting settled.
You have a witch frog! I vote Hecate! She was associated with both dogs and frogs - I guess she likes rhyming animals, lol.
Nice name although I'm not sure if it's a female! I'm playing the wait and see game to see if it will call. I'm pretty sure it's a Hyla Chrysoscelis though because we seem to have more of them around here than the H. Versicolor.
Here's the star! It looks like an upside down star to me anyway... I caught 'em perched on the water bowl....
Awesome! She is a little witch frog! I'm jealous!
And sex doesn't matter when naming, imo. Since your froggie is not likely to get beat up on a playground anyway.
