so nobody knows? blast!
hey guyz i have just found this site i immedialty wanted to ask this question whats with this big brown spot on my frogs it is on all 3 here is a picture of the smallest frog. sorry for the quality it's above his right eye plz help thx
so nobody knows? blast!
I'm not an expert on frogs so please don't take this comment as fact. If it's on all of your frogs maybe it's just the frog equivelant of a birth mark as they could all be related, or it's a mutation of some sort.
Beautiful frogs btw.
Its hard to tell from the photo but its definately not normal. It could be some sort of bacterial infection. I would get them to a herp vet as soon as you can. Bacterial infections are often treated with baytril but it has to be prescribed by a vet.
I agree with Cheri. It's hard to tell from the picture. A vet would probably be better suited to properly diagnosed. It looks like either a bacterial infection, or a bad burn. But can't really say.
Eric
Well there you go the experts have spoken. Please DO take them to a vet because we've had many new members with problems with their frogs and they don't take them to a vet and a few days later their frogs die so please take Cheri and Erics advise. Good luck keep us updated.
Thx guyz i will be sure to get them to one asap
Keep us updated. I hope they get better soon.
Hey wen't to the vet he gave me some cream stuff when i applied it they didn't like it much but the mark has greatly reduced still worried about my largest frog though seems to have had little effect hopefully ti will start working soon.
welcome
Yeah he is doing really well all there marks are healing and one of them is nearly gone so i'm really happy about that
~ Australian frogs Gotta love them
