Hey Guys I got a few important questions about becoming a frog breeder. well first things first do I need A breeders license to sell them online and to petstores? How do I get a breeders license? Also The frog I want to breed are my red eyes. Are they in high remand? Would pet stores be intrested in buying them from a licensed breeder? As of now there is only two stores in maryland that carry red eyed tree frogs and they buy them from breeders out of the state and both of the stores are like 30 to 45 minutes away.
Also I only have a male and female do I need Another male to get sucessful breeding. Also in my tank I have a lot of water will that affect them In the dry season or not? Could you guys help me? Thanks, Drew.
No you don't need a breeders license to sell frogs. If the pet stores are mom and pop pet stores they will probably buy them but they are only going to give you a fraction of the retail price. You might be able to sell them to dealers at reptile shows. All other ways are going to require shipping. It always helps to have more than one male....also more than one female if you have a big enough tank.
