Last month I fed Chubbz his first rodent.
It was a live mouse from the local pet store.
He ate it very eagerly.
Since then he hasn't been very interested in anything else.
At first I thought he grew a preferrence for mice since he ate one.
But I recently fed him another one and he didn't take it nearly as eagerly as the first one.
Last night I noticed little worm like things in his water dish.
I looked closer and they were worms all right.
Chubbz may have gotten them from the mouse he ate.
They look like pinworms to me, from what I've seen on google.
I have no pictures of them and I regret that I didn't take any.
I'll try to get some next time I see them.
What should I do?
I can't afford to take him to the vet right now.
Is they're any medication I should get for him?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Yes that's a possibility with live mice - they can pass on parasites, though I think you're unlucky to have found someone breeding mice that have internal parasites. As for treating him, have a look at the end of the Gray Tree Frog article. It has details of what drugs and what dosages. You will need to take him to a vet to get it done though, that's the downside.

Sorry to hear about Chubbz being sick. I really hope that he gets better soon.
thanks guys for the advise hope fully he can hold out til i get the money for it.
I have some news about CHubbz.
He pooped again and so I checked to see if I saw those worm looking things again.
I did but unlike last time I took a good look at them.
They appeared to me to be remnants of mice bones.
I took a picture but my camera is so bad they you won't be able to see them.
i would still go to a vet just to make sure. You can never be to careful with our little friends.
Yea your right I still plan too.
But I feel much better about it now.
Can those bones cause damage to the intestine tract.
Not likely too.
