Default Newbie frog owner here :)

I am Amy, a proud first time owner of a beautiful gray tree frog named Paddy. I absolutely love her!

She has been in my home for a week and a day now! I've been scouring the internet for care techniques as she was a surprise gift from a friend (I had mentioned that I have always loved tree frogs but was intimidated by the care they require, he forced me to dive in! LOL)

I've got a lot downpat right now but I still have questions here and there, so I'm sorry if I bombard you with questions for a while!

ETA: I love that you have Rep points in your forum!!

Hi Amy! Do you have any pics of Paddy? I'm sure everyone would love to see her. Congrats on your new frog! You will find a lot of good advice on this forum. ^_^

I have! That set up was before I knew much, I just bought the basic minimum since she was a surprise gift for me. I took some new pics tonight. She's eating in these pics so that's why she's sitting funny.

She loves hiding in the leaves!

You've done a nice job! More branches, that's great! Your frog will thank you. And lots of leafage. If it's possible, with time, try and replace the plastic plants with real one. It's better for your frog. For the time being, get even more plants!! Don't worry if you think there's too many! If you think there's too much, that means there will probably be enough!!!

    Very nice revamp.

Thanks! I have just started researching plants that would be safe for Paddy and survive the humid environment. To be honest, when I first got her in the bottom of that box, she was extremely stressed and not very healthy looking, she totally beat herself up jumping against the walls of the box. I didn't think she was going to make it more than a few days. She was a surprise from a friend and I literally had NOTHING for a frog. I went to petsmart and bought as basic of stuff as I could so I could rush home and set up and get her out of the box she was in.

I saw that. The picture of her in the box is quite heartbreaking. You've done a really great thing.
