Hey guys,
I've had a sick Red Eye for about two weeks or so now, and as far as sick frogs goes, well... shes a tough one.
I honestly can't even believe shes still alive.
I recently acquired her at a reptile expo because the seller thought she might be pregnant so I wanted her.
I put her in with my other two red eyed instead of quarantining her by herself. My bad. I got excited about getting her into the groove with the rest of them. I learn and more all the time about how important it is to seperate them.
Anyways, I assumed that everything would be fine, so I put her in the regular cage because I wasn't quite done with my rain chamber yet....
Well, she ended up becoming really stressed and/or ill within the first week... so she never made it into the rain chamber with the other two.
I then put her in her own quarantine chamber for a couple weeks now... I have used Reptaid on her a few times and have successfully force fed her only twice. Like I said, I am surprised she is still alive, but maybe the Reptaid is somehow keeping her going? I am going to continue trying to force feed her, only more frequently now if she doesn't start eating on her own.
Her skin has been blotchy with dark green/ bright green spots mixed throughout the entirety of her being sick.
Has anyone seen this before? Any recommendations?
Thanks a bunch.
I just saw a previous add about RETF discoloration and I guess one remedy may be Baytril.., so I am going to pick some of that up asap! Hope I get it in time.
I would get stuff for a quarintine tank as well.
Good luck
Sadly Quite a few threads like this.

The problem is we tend to hear about these thing too late. Please try and get the baytril from a vet in the morning...time is of the essence.
Just an update....
I was planning on taking my ill frog to the shop where I bought it at because the owner said he'd treat her for me, but when I got home form work she had already passed.
I feel horrible for being a bad frog-parent but now I know what to do next time to treat it. I am going to get a hold of doctor Frye to get some Baytril.
Thank you all for all of your help lately.
