Default Mixing live and fake plants ok?

I have a 18x18x24 Exo Terra viv which is naturally planted with Pothos,Monstera and Syngonium.

I would like to add some silk leaved vines (Exo terra) to the viv to create a "thicker" look and make the frogs feel safer.

Is it ok to mix live and fake plants and will I have to remove the fake sections all the time for cleaning? as I don't really want to be disturbing the frogs all the time.

    Thanks for your time.

Hi Hereces, good to see you again. You can indeed mix fake and live plants. Plastic plants can be tricky as they have sharp edges and may hurt frogs. But the silk ones as you are thinking of are better.

    Have a great one,

    Eric

We should design aquarium or tank in such a way that it provides natural atmosphere to pet like snakes, lizard or frog. Always remember which fake plants are suitable for the pet livelihood.
