African, Bullfrogs,

Hi All

I am from South Africa an would like to learn more about the so called invasion of the African Bullfrog in the USA.
Is it tru?
What is the negative impact they have on the envioment?
How do deal with the problem?

In South Africa the bulfrogs are protected.

Welcocme aboard. I have not heard of an invasion of African bullfrogs, Pyxicephalus adspersus in the US. There is however an invasion of American bullfrogs, Lithobates catesbeianus in Arizona and California. They are from eastern North America and do not belong in the western half, where they are wreaking havoc.
