    Default Brown tree frogs

Hi all, I'm new to keeping frogs. Have been thinking about getting them for about 4-5 months now and read the official NZ frog book and looked online for all the info i could get. I'm planning on getting brown tree frogs. I've brought a Exo-Terra vivarium......very excited and starting plans for the tank. Hope to get a couple of tadpoles in a couple of weeks to get me started. Would love to hear from others who have kept these wee guys. I'm interested in making backgrounds and waterfall so would like to see what others have make and done and what works and what doesn't.

Welcome to the forum, I am unframiliar with brown frogs from your area, as common terminology. Green and golden bell frogs, green tree frogs, and giant tree frogs are the ones I know of. There's quite a few members here that are from NZ and AU. Or a scientific name would help.

    Hi welcome to the forum.
For Whistling tree frogs (I prefer their nickname to Brown tree frogs) Ebony knows pretty much everthing about how to care for them so I would get in contact with her. I would email you a care article on them but it's copyright of Ebony and Paul so I don't think it would be legal without their permission, maybe ask her to send it to you. I to am thinking of getting them but I'm unsure at the moment.
