    Default Help with baby frog!

He finally climbed out of the water, and has been latched onto the side of the cage since then. I drained most of the water, still left a few little pools with rocks in them. The bottom of his cage is moist sand. He still had a little nub of a tail, but he's still tiny (his body is smaller than a dime) and I dont know what to start feeding him. The cage I have would be easy for fruit flies to get out of. I'm planning on getting a large aquarium for him once he gets a bit older but for now this is all I have:

So I'm wondering a few things, what should I feed him? Should I begin feeding him bugs now?
And also what would the best setup be for his new cage? What should I put on the bottom, and do these type of frogs like to swim, or are they land frogs that just need water to drink? Anything else I should know in order for him to grow into a happy healthy adult frog?
Here he is (except his tail grows shorter by the minute):

He won't eat until his tail is completely gone so don't feed him yet. What kind of frog is it again? Regarding food, I would try dusted fruit flies (obviously get a tank where you can seal it for a few hours so the flies don't get out). Better still, gutloaded very small crickets (pinheads if necessary).

I was told he's a pacific tree frog, I'm not completely sure but I think that sounds correct.

Hi Zolvll3lE, Your wee Froglet is very cute. When you feed him/her the Fruit flies, you should put some old netting curtain or some breathable material over the tank before you put the lid on as the flies can get out of your Tank.

He could be a Hylid alright - I thought he looked Treefrog-ish.
