    Default Rough scaled pythons

    Hi all

I am trying to find out if there are nay breeders of Rough Scaled Pythons in the USA or Europe that anyone knows of. They are being bred really well in Australia but unfortunately exporting out of Oz is prohibited so trying to see where else we can find them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kurt's got his finger on the pulse - I bet he could find out.

I bet you I can't. That species is considered rare and is not exported at all from Australia. I could be be wrong, but I don't think any zoo outside of Australia has them. I will have to look at the ISIS abstracts for a definitive answer.

Thanks Kurt, it is a catch 22. Private collectors are successfully breeding them in captivity in Australia but exports from Australia just will not happen. We have tried to find some but it seems all the species are only in Australia and aren't even that expensive. Perhaps some of the German collectors would have access to them.

Maybe, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
