    Unhappy Dead Milk Frog.

I purchased another Milk frog yesterday and it has died today from what looks like redleg (The frog has small red lesions on it's feet, legs and tummy.)

Stupidly I put the new frog into my viv with my other Milk frog and they were together for around 24hrs, I am now worried my other frog may catch the disease.
I now know I should have quarantined the new frog (I am new to keeping amphibians and didn't realize this and feel very stupid for not researching it first.)

Damn, I'm so annoyed with myself!!!

I see a few ulcers but I doubt that's what killed the frog. Likely that's a secondary problem.

You can't say it's red leg. All you can see there are a few ulcers - you've no idea what's causing them.

It was just a newbie guess John, I apologize for jumping to conclusions.
I'm very upset at the loss of the little fellow.

Sorry you lost your new friend. I'd be contacting who you got it from and letting them know it died with in 24 hours. Also detox your viv just in case. It'll give your other friend a better chance of not getting whatever killed the first one. and remember next time quarantine for at least 30-60 days. It's a hard lesson to learn
