    Default Newbie to frogs

Hi all as the title says I am new to frogs, I am looking for a good type of starter frog I have kinda had my eye on a tomato or pacman can someone steer me in the right direction. I know a bit about reptiles as we have 2 beardies and able tongue skink but have not a clue about these cute little fellas, any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to the forum, Medak!

And happy to see you're looking for the perfect frog for you. You did mention pacman frogs. There are a great deal of Ornate Horned Frogs owners on this forum. I'm sure you'll get a response from one of them soon.

I often suggest fire-bellied toads as a startup frog. They are hardy, active, beautiful. Extremely popular and with good reasons. Here's more on them:

Are you already equipped (terrarium, etc)?

Welcome to the forum, I suggest whites frogs. They too are hardy and ideal frogs for fist time owner. No pumps nessisary, just a water bowl to soak in. There only flaw, they're nocturnal, but if u treat them at breakfast or before lights out, they'll wait fir you. And they're probably the only frog u can hold on occasion without a frog heart attack. Go to utube, there's lots of videos there. My advice, research your species, set up your tank a month before hand to get temps, humidity, and fluctuations down. Have a good search and study!!!
