Strange… everything I read about bullfrogs says they are loners… need and want 4 foot between territories… well the two I have hang out together… the male is larger… they sit next or on top of each other… now in the water they have there own areas to hang out… she likes it in the pots that hold the water plants and he likes it in the rock caves… but once they get on land… they are right next to each other… so far they both seem healthy… and now I am finding empty crawdad shells… so they must pass through.
I didn't know they were territorial - I find that hard to swallow actually. Where are you getting that info from? Males don't like being in each other's faces when in the water but that's about as far as it goes. As for being together on land, I imagine they're seeking the same area because it's most secure.
