    Nice looking pyxie.

Miss having young pyxies around. Their feeding response is CRAZY and love how acrobatic and agile they are at that age lol.

I have been feeding him juvenile dubia roaches. I feed him everyday (I'll be cutting down soon) in the afternoon.

Okay thanks, I've been trying to get a hold of some dubia, but my mom won't let me have roaches. She's scared of an invasion in our house lol. I was wondering because some of my pixies are not eating as much

Dubia actually die without heat and food. Dubia are on the non-invasive roach list. They don't climb or fly even tho the males have wings. Here's a video of our roaches when we first started. We now have 2 tubs (one baby and one adult) YouTube - Blaptica Dubia Roach Colony

That is correct. They also move slower and take no effort to breed besides buying a heat pad and feeding. Can I ask where you live so I can answer your question better. ie: Florida they are illegal because of perfect conditions.

What is you thermostat set to?

    Pros:
    Good for animals
    Eat bad veggies
    Don't breed fast
    Slow runners
    Easy to care for
    Endless food

    Cons:
Your parents won't let you have them
They take a while to get started
Cost (1 and done for life pretty much)
    Breed slowly

Some of the cons are pros for you parents! If they let you get them let me know and I'll tell you some tips and how to get started. Gmail~ nberg96@gmail.com (I check daily)
    Yahoo~ nate_the_great96@yahoo.com (I check twice a week)
