Btw not sure if this wil help but it is about 3"
First photo is confusing but it looks like an American Bullfrog. Of course, if that aquarium is in Cape Town, South Africa, I'm obviously wrong, hence why I asked you where it was...

i bought that tadpole from a mini aquarium shop.In USA/Cali/Bay Area
At 3 inches it's almost certainly a bullfrog.

bay area= around oakland and san francisco
i see.just a couple other questions-
i know my tadpole has cloudy eyes and has been infected but does it mean when it turns into a frog it will be blind or anything?and also my tadpole started growing legs.i see little sticks coming out of its body. How long will it take to turn into a froglet?
Bullfrogs can take years to transform so I am not going to guess. Regarding the eyes, I don't know - I doubt it though.

I have e-mailed Greg Mertz DVM asking for his advise on the subject. Also is it possible that the tadpoles could be Lithobates grylio? I know its more likely to be L. catesbeianus, but is it possible they could end up being pig frog tadpoles?
I just got an automated response from Greg saying he will be out of the office untill September.
i see okay thanks a bunch for helping me out
You're welcome. So sorry I can't get you any veternarian advice till next month.
no problem
