Default Golden Tree Frog HELP - bad infection on back

*(posted in the wrong area first time)

Being as brief as possible, I have two golden tree frogs (Shrek & Fiona) - we've had them six months now and they've always been healthy. They are in a large viv (18x36x24), have a pool (changed weekly), moss (washed monthly) and a feeding container (for live crickets dusted with vits & minerals).

Anyways...generally we go out of our way to give them their privacy and try not to disturb them to often (with exception of the monthly viv cleaning)...its not uncommon to not see either frog for days on end (as they usually hide/sleep during the day and are active late at night)

However...both looked very healthy as late as 3 weeks ago...but that's suddenly changed...we noticed what can only be described as an ugly (and most probably painful) open wound/infection on Fiona's. We don't have any amphibian vets on our area and information has been very difficult to locate online.

Any Ideas? Any treatment suggestions? We have already fully sterilized the viv and have tried apply polysporin (which has seemed to have some, but little effect). We just got a hold of some malachite green, isopropyl alcohol, peroxide and a handful of other chems...but are not sure what to do.

Any help would be appreciated as we desperately want to help our little 'babies'.

(warning - images below are graphic)

Indeed, knowing where you live would be nice.
Around here we can have different supplies then you have.

It is a little bit difficult to see from a small picture,
but if i may guess, i would say it has something to do with the environment.
I´ve seen quit similair wounds, at least if i see it right in the picture

Best thing i should advice is checking the conditions in the viv like humidity and temperature.
The wound should be treated to make sure it doesn't get infected,
    if it isn't already.
Good solutions around here are Bactyfec, ampicilinne powder or solution or Sulfanilamidum.

Altough it is best to let a vet check to be sure,
also the amount of solution you need to use and the period are things a vet can deside better then we from a distance

Location - North Bay, Ontario, Canada

Where would I go (or look) to find Bactyfec, ampicilinne powder or solution or Sulfanilamidum? And we have fully sanitized their viv (everything has now been thrown out, washed, lysol-ed, rinsed, and aired-out).

    Here are better images

That looks nasty indeed, way worse then i had in mind

It looks like there is puss underneath or something?
Does it feel hard or something?
I think it is badly infected already when i see this.

Best thing for you to do is visit a vet or send an email out to one.

We can buy those solutions at a vetinairy and specialized terrarium stores.
Bactyfec by the way may be found with aquarium supplies as well since it originates from that hobby.

Good lucj with the frog, sorry i can't say with 100% certainty what it is,
as i said it looks worse then what i had in mind.
