    Default Canned Crickets

    Hi:

I know conventional wisdom is that frogs won't eat dead prey, but my White's Tree Frog has no qualms with eating canned crickets. I just drop them in when he's in hunt mode and he gobbles them up. I'm feeding him live crickets and a meal worms as well. I'm just wondering do canned crickets have much nutritional value for a frog? Obviously you can't gut load them like a live cricket.

the brand I get has guarenteed analysis.
    20% protein
    5% fat
    1%fiber
    3% crude ash
75%moisture. I looked up live crickets and it said the same thing, if i remember right. I dont know they're made in indo.
Most people would say only live, the canned crix have less certin cuz shells
Are softened, less chance of impaction. Just dusting and varied diet.
