Default Signs of a healthy frog/toad

What are the things to look for when purchasing a healthy frog or toad?

is there anything I should be paying particular attention to?

    Thanks

    1. Focus on plump ones, not skinny ones.

    2. Look for ones that are active, or at least become active when a hand is reached in.

    3. Bright colours, top and bottom.

    4. Clear eyes.

    5. Check legs and toes for any missing or deformed, or not used properly (ie. favouring a leg etc).

    6. FBTs will usually eat any time, anywhere-don't be afraid to ask to see it being fed with appropriate sized crickets; even if a toad isn't particulary hungry, it will still make an attempt to eat, if only to prevent it's fellow toads from getting it!!

    7. These toads are social, so don't be afraid to get at least a pair of them, or even three. The more there are, the more enjoyment you will get watching and interacting with them.
