I'm starting to put together a natural WTF terrarium very soon and would like to add some springtails and woodlice for custodians.
The terrarium will be allowed to grow for a couple of months before the frogs go in.
My question is what should I feed the custodian insects during this initial frogless 2 months?
Thanks for your time.
I've used fish flakes in a frogless vivarium for springtails and woodlice.
Chop up a mushroom slice and spread around the tank.
^^^That'll do it. Careful they don't explode and go everywhere.
I used to think that I had to understand in order to believe, then I realized that I must believe in order to understand - Augustine
Watch out for mites on the mushroom!
They can have the times of their live with all the food and no predator
Thanks for the advice guys.
