I put a froglet into my terrarium last night and i cant find him today! i have a screen lid over the top, i dont know how he could have gotten out. I hope he is only hiding in the moss but im not too confident he is. Any ideas where he might have gone if he has gotten out?
I lost one last weeked and I also have a screen top. He must have pushed his way through. I searched all over the room but couldn't find him. later that night when it was completely dark and quiet. I heard him.... he climbed out of a dresser drawer and walked down the side.
Hope you find him/her!
I'm in the same situation again. The same one got out again.. I have to replace these aquariums. I'll be doing the same thing tonight as I did last week. well, happy hunting!
thanks, hes really tiny though
I hope you find him safe and sound! Keep us updated.
God bless,
Laura
woot i found him asleep in a bin filled with nerf darts sleeping! I bent the lid so it fits on the aquarium better
Whew! Glad you found him. I would recomment some cage clips or something to keep the lid down

im now going out to the harware store to get a timer and some cheap tubing to make a mister for when im not home
Found mine too... he was sleeping in a vase right next to the tank. I never would have looked there.
glad you found yours as well!
God bless,
Laura
You are both very lucky - tiny froglets are almost impossible to find, particularly treefrogs. Get a real terrarium lid and some clips, like Laura said. If you live in the US, Petsmart and Petco sell lids for most standard tank sizes, and the clips to hold them on.

thats where i got it from =O exact measurements too, i just need clips. Ill post a pic of my sprayer system i made =P i just need a new timer that can go in like 1 min increments a few times a day and a new sprayer nozzle
I recently got a screen top for my 2.5 gallon tank from Petco or Petsmart, don't remember which. When I got it home, I discovered it doesn't quite fit flat on the tank. My solution to keeping the tank's occupant inside was to place a critter keeper on to of it. That works for me!
woot i found a lamp timer with a 1min interval for the sprayer, its a bucket, a small pond pump, rubber tubing, a garden sprayer with a small valve and some hose clamps ^.^
