    Default White's Tree Frog's color

Is there anyway to control the color of your White's Tree frog. I enjoy when they are a more green color, but sometimes they are completely brown. Any suggestions or references would be helpful.

Well, some say that it has to do with humitity and temperature, as well as mood. I like mine green as well . What are your temps and humitity? Though I have seen several different white's in the same enclosure and conditions range from green to brown between individual frogs. Hopefully someone else can chime in with a better answer

By the way, Welcome to the forum!
    God bless,

On a dark background a frog will darken in color, on a light background they brighten in color. So if your enclosure has a black background, like mine does, and your frog hangs out around the back of the tank, he/she will be brown. If the enclosure is light in color, say like white or yellow, the frog should turn green.
Frogs will also lighten and darken depending on the amount of light they are receiving. My red-eyes are a bright-leaf green during the day. After dark they turn dark green.
And that, my friends is the skinny on the changing of color in frogs (most of the time).

Mine will be greener at night and grey-brown in the day while he's asleep.
