We'll I knew this was going to happen, but Baby's friends, we finally named Tiny, died Day before yesterday, Tiny actually looked better, ate lots of bugs and even pooped!! Then yesteray early feeding Tiny didn't eat much, then in the late feeding (since I got the Friut flies I've been feeding then 2x's daily) was sitting on a leaf when I was taking him/her out and then disappeared....I found Tiny sprawled out on the bottom upside down and.....definately dead. So sad.
Baby perked up yesterday and was eating bugs and pooped too!(interested what you'll talk about w/pets and children) I had Baby outside in it's tank and seemed to perk up..hot and humid, so I put the tank under a table, made sure all was safe and secure and left him out last night.
Baby is stuck to the side of it's tank and I am scared to touch him yet. When I saw Tiny he/she looked alive so it was quite the shock.
I finally got the fruit flies and now he/she dies!!! I think they just went too long without.
Tiny's been in wake all night, 1. too make sure he absolutely dead and 2. until I figure out what to do with the little guy..they don't make coffin's for small frogs.....maybe they should!
My condolences. I hope Baby does alright.
Sorry for your loss.

Charla! I'm so sorry to hear the news after you fought so hard to help these two little guys! I hope that Baby does okay!
Make USPS pay for the funeral, and the next time the mailman comes by, make him go pay his respects!
Very sorry to hear! Sometimes, despite our best efforts, these things happen. You are very committed, though, and I am sure that Baby is now going thrive. Please keep us posted on how he or she is doing. RIP TIny...
Thank you all.
I cleaned out the tank, took out the soil and 1 plant and replaced it with wet paper towels.
Baby is due for a feeding, where still outside, and I think instead of stressing Baby out by handling him/her, I am going to dump some friut flies in the tank. Since am am leaving Baby outside for a bit if the f.flies escape it's not a big deal.
I am more determined than ever to save Baby.
Btw this is the froglet I rescued from the bucket of water..this frogs been through a lot, poor Baby.
So sorry.
Aww so sorry
here is todays pic of baby...I think he/she has gotten bigger???
1st is Baby today 9/4 and the 2nd is 8/28.
I hope Iam not just wishing this to be true, but I definately see a difference.
Man, that second picture looks horrible, way too emanicated!
def looks better in the first pic!
YAY Charla! For untrained frog eyes, it's definitely easy to see the difference you have made in Baby's life! Here's to future plumpness!!!!!
Again, sorry about Tiny's loss : ( That little frog knew, somehow, how hard you were fighting to help him!
Baby is even looking better today. I think putting the F.Flies in the tank and not handling him/her was the best decision. He/she is much, much more active and alert and is not sleeping as often. I've been keeping a close eye in Babes and have watched him watching the flies and eat them..day and night.
