I found this little guy in the middle patuxent environmental area (Columbia MD) in a muddy area along the river bank. August of last year. About half an inch long at best. Too quick to get a clear shot. Anyone know what it is?
Looks like an american toad it probaly just emerged from tadpole stage. The river it was by was probaly the river where its eggs were laid and it grew up. Beautiful colors though, you are very lucky to see one like that
It could be a toad species, but I would need to see a more clear picture of the animal to make the determination
