Hello!
My Pacman frog, Princess, has been sent of to a boarding home some days ago (Tails and Scales in Ontario). When we brought her back, she has been acting off.
She is burrowing herself in the soil, and refuses to come out. She has also gotten paler. Instead of a vibrant neon green/golden yellow, she is becoming dull.
I've researched and read some articles, and they say that she might be hibernating, and I should wait for her to decide when she wants to stop. The thing is, she sometimes croaks from time to time, so I feel like that MIghT be an indication that she is not fully(?) hibernating?
Tell me what you think!
It has been over a week since she last ate. She is still buried under the soil. I'm scared that she might starve. Should I bring her out by myself to feed her? Or should I wait until she comes out by herself?
10 Glass Gallon Tank.
Bedding: Coconut Fiber Substrate
Temperature: 75 F
Humidity: 70
I leave a tray of water in the habitat.
Is that all?
I would try heating up the terrarium to ~80F. One reason pacman frogs burrow is to get to a more comfortable temperature.
