Default Adding sand to ABG substrate

I have a bioactive vivarium that my two Fowler’s toadlets will be moving into soon. It’s been set up for 3 weeks so I’m giving it another 3. I’ve read that Fowler’s like to burrow in sandy areas and I often see them around my local beaches. Can I mix in some playsand to the substrate without compromising the quality for the springtails/isopods/ plants? The substrate is currently made up of the following: Fir bark, calcined clay, blended spaghnum, charcoal, cypress mulch, coco fiber.
