Unhappy Should I release my Grey Tree Frog?

I found a little female grey tree frog in my house in winter and have been taking care of her for about 3 months. She is native to the area and I'm thinking I can release her any day now since it's spring. I named her Sunshine and I admit I've grown a bit attached, she eats very well and even takes crickets right from my hand!

I really don't like the thought of her dying outside from lack of food, drying up or being crunched on by a raccoon. She never tried to make any grand escapes when I open the lid of the tank and she moves around throughout the day. The only time she makes a fuss is when I clean the tank so I know what her trying to escape looks like cause she will in the temp tank.

This is my first time owning a frog and she is only in a 5 gallon cause I didn't plan on keeping her but do you think if I got her a really nice tank I should keep Sunshine? Should I take the tank outside and just see if she leaves?
