Hi guys, I’m new here. I live in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. I’ve actually never seen a frog in our yard before.
Yesterday working in the front garden I notice a Toad sized Green Frof sitting on my fence! It’s massive. It hasn’t moved for 2 days and looks lethargic.
what should I do?
The short answer is to leave it be and enjoy it from afar. Odds are it’s of the Litorea genus given your description but a photo would help in identification. Frogs in this genus are common in Australia and they tend to hang out just as you described.
I afraid it may be pregnant or something.

Looks like Litorea caerulea “whites treefrog.” The individual pictured looks more than healthy even a bit on the heavy side. It probably set up shop in your planter and is enjoying the sun. If it is a female she’ll find an appropriate place to spawn when heavy rains come. I wouldn’t bother her.
It was a bit sunny this afternoon. I saw he/she had dry skin and gave her a gentle little shower!
She/he seemed to liven up a little. Should I have done that? I just don’t want it to die.
Ok I’m a little confused as to why you think this frog is ill or dying. Again, in the photo I see a healthy and content wild frog that frankly looks better than most captive frogs of the same species. The best thing you can do for it is to leave it be. We’re not talking about a captive frog in your care. Nor are we taking about a wild frog that has sustained any obvious injuries. I’m sure your heart is in the right place but given the circumstances again I’d advise you not to stress the animal out. It’s normal for this species to bask. It’s engaging in a completely normal behavior.
