I have 2 ACFs with soft bloat, one is rather extreme now. The other 4 frogs in the tank do not have bloat. I've tried Epsom salt bathes without any improvement. I am now considering aspiration and am wondering if anyone here has experience using ms-222 as an anesthetic with African clawed frogs? I have used the drug on a few different species of fish but not on amphibians. Have read some limited info on the web but wonder if anyone has first hand experience.
Title should say ms-222, not me-222.
It would seem that anesthetizing the frog would make the procedure much easier for all involved.
