I am a brand new tree frog owner. But I've been doing my best to research. I bought two new Tigerleg Tree frogs (Phyllomedusa hypocondrialis) from Josh's Frogs (Love everything about them) and they arrived 2 days ago.
They showed up in seemingly healthy condition. However, it's been over 40 hours now and they've done nothing but sleep in the same spots. I've dropped in some dusted fruit flies but they've made no attempt. They are a beautiful green and look healthy, but I worry about them. I'm doing my best to leave them alone so not to stress them, and I haven't handled them (don't plan on it)
I have a 12 x 12 x 18 exo terrarium with a sphagnum moss substrate, water bowl, fake vine, and two real plants purchased from Josh's Frogs.
I have a heating pad and low wattage UVB lamp. Temp is staying at 72-76 and humidity fluctuates between 60 and 80 (I find myself spraying often) I turn on the UVB at 8 am and turn it off at 8pm after which I put a small LED lamp in the corner of the room to simulate moonlight.
Since I'm a new tree frog owner and care deeply about these little guys I would appreciate any and all advice. Thank you!
My non expert advice would be to remove all the substrate and leave 1 thing for them to climb on and hide. Also a water bowl. Layer paper towels in the bottom so they can easily find their food. Sprinkle them at night right before you feed

How big are they? I’m curious as to why you are offering fruitflies instead of appropriately sized crickets. If the feeders are too small that may explain why your frogs have no feeding response.
