Hey there everybody,
I'm new to the hobby, starting out with 3 african dwarf frogs. Right now, I'm preparing to buy them, and looking at equipment to figure out how much money I need to get started. The tank I'm looking at right now comes with a Top Fin Element Filter, and I know that frogs can get stressed out if their filters are too loud or create too much vibration. Does anybody have experience with this type of filter? I've seen other recommendations as well, but I'd rather get a filter for a deal if itll be ok for the frogs.
I've found that Mainland Penguin filters aren't very loud, but they aren't really the most reliable from my experience. Tetra Reptofilters are also quiet from what I've seen. They really don't work well though. Hopefully these can give you some ideas.
