    Question Animal Plastic Cages

    Hi everyone!

So I've been doing some research as my plan is to get three snakes in the near future. However during this I discovered a company called Animal Plastics. As far as I can tell from the forums for snakes these are amazing cages.

Does anyone use them for frogs?

I've got a storage shelf in my room with my two frogs on it however when I get my snakes (the cages by this company) would the same cages work for a frog? I'd love to have them all stacked up nicely and get the storage shelf put of my room as it's a bit odd.

The cages are made to stack on top of each other and the only frog I have that needs heat is my Whites Tree Frog so I would put his cage on top so the lamp can be on the top of the cage.

I haven't talked to the company yet (I'm getting a job in summer and these cages are spendy) but I think I could make one work for my leopard frog as well. I would either put a tub in the cage or make it waterproof with plexiglass separating the water and land side.

The whites tree frog cage is way simpler as they have a mesh option to add on the top of the cage so I would just plop the lamp on top of that instead. Easy enough I think.

So the ultimate plan (I have two summers before I'll most likely get the snakes, so ordering the cages this summer and getting every thing setup) is to have the following stack. The top (where you are reading first) will be the top of the stack.

    Whites Tree Frogs 2'L 2''W 3'H

    Mexican Black Kingsnake 4'L 2'W 1'H

    Ball Python 4'L 2'W 1'H

    Brazillian Rainbow Boa 4'L 2'W 2'H

    Leopard frog 4'L 2'W 1'H

Leopard frog would be on the bottom due to the water being in it. I figure I want the most weight on the bottom.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Alyssa
