Hi everyone. I had my Pyxie frog delivered to me last Sunday 07 October. I asked the lady to choose one that looked more male even though it's hard to tell at this age. My frog is about the size of a 50p piece. He actually croaked the other night believe it or not at this age.
4th size brown crickets have been eaten every day since Tuesday but I woke up today to find that he'd burrowed under the coco fibre completely. Should I dig him up to feed or wait it out? He hasn't taken a dump yet either.
Some info:
Taken with an IR temp gun. The heat mat is set to 82 with the probe directly sitting on it outside the enclosure. Ambient in the room is 74, the heat mat on the glass inside is 80.6, the ground next to the heat mat is 75.4, the ground on the other side of the enclosure is 74.2, the ground where he's burrowed is 73.4.
I spray twice a day with de-chlorinated water and disinfect the water bowl with F10 every day but he hasn't stepped into it since Tuesday.
Thanks, I've also attached some pictures.

Ok no one seems to know the answer to this then. I'm going to take him out of the enclosure for feeding.

Mine seem to burrow more if they eat big meals or if the cage is too dry i spray and they pop generally my girls do that my boy just stays out all the time. as long as your frog is still eating you should be fine taking him out of his burrow to eat but if he stops eating you may be stressing him out to much
