Hello!
I'm very confused on how to do lighting for my Whites Tree Frog.
So I have currently one Whites Tree Frog in a 10 gallon tank (he's upgrading soon don't worry!) one bromeliad, a few pieces of wood, and a few plastic plants. I know that the plant needs light and I know it's debatable on whether or not WTF's need light but I figure I want to use it anyways.
What kind of lighting does my one bromeliad need?
What kind of lighting does my WTF need?
This is for a 10 gallon tank so nothing that will excessively heat up the tank or burn him since he likes being up towards the top.
Links are appreciated!
Thanks so much!

For the plants you need a full spectrum grow light. Anything sold as a plant grow light should work. Full spectrum includes some UV. Depending on the tank you end up getting, you might get a fixture designed for that tank, or get, say, a hanging lamp.
However, you might also want a low level UVB bulb, like one of those sold for "Tropical" terrariums.
As far as not heating up fluorescent or LED bulbs would be the best option.
Thanks so much!
All these different kinds of lighting got me confused so thanks for clarifying!

I use led bulbs for freshwater planted aquariums on all my vivariums. Anything in the range of 5500 to7500 kelvin will look close to natural light, not overheat and as a bonus your plants will color up nicely (especially bromeliads). My favorite light is fluvals fresh and plant model.
