Default Red Eyed Tree Frog toe bleeding???? help please

Yesterday i went to check on my red eyed tree frogs and saw that one was basically sleeping in its own blood for some reason. When it woke up later on i sprayed it with clean water to clean some of the blood off and saw that there was like a small thing of blood on his left front foot on his inner toe. The thing wont come off and im afraid that if i touch it it may harm the frog. This morning as it was sleeping i saw that blood had pooled up again so i misted water on him to clean it off. Can someone help, please? Im not sure what to do or where to go to and id appreciate the help

I'd check out his stomach and legs and see if there are any broken veins visible there. If so it might be red leg. But hopefully it's just a minor injury. It is okay to apply a little (nonpainkilling) antibiotic ointment to a frog's injury.

A vet visit might not be a bad idea if you suspect red leg, especially since it's serious and tends to come on quickly. Some kind of antifungal treatment is usually needed for red leg.
