I have a male and female pixie. The male is about 7 months younger and both frogs are the same size, the female might be a little rounder and heavier. I’ve recently acquired an 85 gal tank and decided to put them together. I’ve been watching them for the last 2 hours and plan on keeping a close eye on them. There hasn’t been any fighting or biting yet. The female was getting on top of the male and making him move to a different location for the first 10 min or so. Now both frogs are about 6 inches away from each other and borrowed up there heads. Nether has moved for sometime now. I’ve read a few things on this, but figured I’d ask anyways. Both frogs are the same size, younger male, large enclosure. Should I put two separate water dishes, or one big one in the center. Any thoughts/ideas on how to make this work? Thanks.
