Thread: what kind are these

    Default what kind are these

    Hey guys,

    I was on top of Stone Mtn. the other day and rescues these from a pool that was about to dry up. there was some solid black tadpoles and also some green ones. I'm not a frog guy so I was hoping someone would know what kind of frogs they will be. My son is really interested in watching them turn into frogs. I have a large pond at my home that I will release them into when they mature.

    Those look like Gray Tree Frogs or at least the spotty ones do. Also that one at the top looks like a Gray Tree Frog and if it has pads on its toes that's almost certainly what it is.
